During the second quarter of 2022, the top five casual games on the Android platform in Costa Rica exhibited varying trends in downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a closer look at their performance:

Subway Surfers from SYBO Games saw a peak in weekly downloads at around 15K in early May, with a gradual decline to approximately 8.7K by the end of June. The game’s weekly revenue fluctuated, peaking at nearly $260 in mid-April before settling to about $84 at the end of June. Weekly active users followed a similar trend, increasing to around 75K in early May and then decreasing to approximately 68K by the end of the quarter.

Sonic Forces: PvP Battle Race by SEGA experienced a significant rise in weekly downloads, peaking at about 12K in late April and early May, before declining to around 4.9K by the end of June. Revenue rose steadily, reaching roughly $107 in late May. Active users also saw growth, peaking at around 50K in early May, and then declining to about 35K by the end of the quarter.

Pou from Zakeh maintained a steady download rate, with weekly downloads hovering around 7K for most of the quarter. Revenue showed a declining trend, with minimal peaks, reaching a low of $0 in certain weeks. However, Pou's weekly active users remained strong, consistently around the 150K mark throughout the quarter.

Geometry Dash Lite by RobTop Games maintained a stable download rate, with weekly downloads fluctuating around the 5K to 7K range. Although the game did not generate any revenue, its weekly active users remained robust, peaking at approximately 67K in late May.

Among Us from Innersloth LLC showed an upward trend in weekly downloads, peaking at nearly 9.8K in mid-June. Revenue saw minor fluctuations, reaching up to $20 in the last two weeks of June. Weekly active users increased significantly, from around 4.3K at the end of March to approximately 7.4K by late June.
